Welcome to West Virginia Center! This site is still in BETA, but it is growing every day. New features are being added every week. Even though the community functions are in place, it will be a few monthes before West Virginia Center will become a localized alternative to Youtube, MySpace, FaceBook, and like services.

West Virginia Center is far more than a simple community site. West Virginia Center is a complete portal including news, articles, shopping, media center, and much more, all combined into a fully integrated community.

Even though many features are open to the public, many features are reserved for the West Virginia Center community. If you don't see a feature that you wnt or need, contact us and we will include it. If you would like to become a member of the community, please use the signup link in the left menu.

Thank you for your support,

Dustin Salmons, Webmaster.

For those that watched the September 17th news interview,

Fund Created to Help Flea Market Fire Victims - WOWK-TV

The website that was mentioned for vendor support, www.vendorsfund.com was supposed to be live today (18th). We are working on the best methods to use to get the site up with a full support forum, donation center, order customization, etc. Our main focus right now is finding the best way to have the register online. We just want to make sure that everything is done right the first time around. Until everything is up, you can customiza a shirt at www.wvpersonalization.com or register at the support forum www.vendorsfund.wvcenter.com  until everything is tied together. I hope that we can make a large impact, and I thank you for being a part of it.

There is little doubt that the events of September 10th, 2008 will remain fresh in our minds for quite some time. Even with plans to rebuild, one issue has yet to be addressed; reestablishment of the vendors. Even though everyone’s situation is different, for the vast majority, everything they were able to sale became victim of consequence. So what does this mean to the local economy? Even if a new building were erected next week, most of the would-be vendors would have nothing to fill the spaces.

There may be good news to those people that thought that the tragedy resulted in a total loss. “It is still hard to believe that something like this could have happened.” Says Dustin Salmons of WV Personalization as he announced to the media that a fund for the victims is underway in their honor.
